Peanut Butter

I just ate one of my favorite snacks- a peanut butter sandwich. Peanut butter is good for you. It contains many heart-health fats (mono & polys). I have tasted several brands. I don't care for many of the mainstream brands such as Jif and Peter Pan. I prefer all natural brands with a creamy texture. My favorite brand is Smart Balance. It''s not too sweet, and it also contains flaxseed oil. The flaxseed oil boosts the amount of omega fats. My only problem with peanut butter is that I sometimes over do it. I will eat from the jar and next thing you know, the jar is empty. Peanut butter averages 100 calories per tablespoon; it's very calorie dense. On days when I'm bulking, eating a jar is no problem. But Iend to avoid the jar on off days.
