Today's commute to school was ridiculously long. There was a storm overnight, so many subway line got flooded. I thought about heading back home many times. But, since I was already out of the house, I pressed on. I left my house at 8:45 to get to school early and prepare for a quiz for my 10 am class. Mt Eden station on the 4-line was packed with waiters. We found out that no trains were going below 149 st. So, I walked to the B/D train that is not far from the Mt. Eden station. I waited there for over a half hour. When the train came, the last stop was 145 st. So, I had to transfer to a A, which was going local. When I got to 42nd, commuters couldn't not use the underground path linking the A train to the rest of the trains. So, I had to walk outside to 42nd and 7th to transfer to the 7. Finally the 7 got me to school at 11:15!!
