85% of a good fitness regime is dieting. You can lift weights three times a week, do an intense cardio routine, and sleep well, but without eating correctly, you're wasting your time. Today, for the umpteenth time, I am starting my diet program again. I have my weight training and cardio routines down pact, it's just the diet that I need to stick to.Ever since high school, I've been on a diet program. Not like Jenny Craig or anything, but different diets to better my health, appearance, and sometimes for competitions. Today, I am serious about sticking to the following program, and the fact that I'm posting this in this blog also helps enforce this. Also, I have exactly 6 months until my birthday- another motivation factor.Okay, my diet program is to minimize saturated fat and cholestrol, eat omega containing foods many times a week as well as good fats. As far as calories, I want to keep my body from being customed to a particular number of calories. So to keep my metabolism always on fire, within every three day period, one day I will consume between 1200 and 1500 calories, a second day, aound 1800 and a third day, any amount as long as its over 3000. Sometimes I may consume over 5000 calories, in order to bulk up and gain muscle. My goal is to be fit and cut as if I were in the marine corps.
