For my English class we had to discuss a time when we had to give bad news.
My response was: When I was the GM of my friend's resturant, I often had to give bad news to employees in regards to their performance. The way I expressed the message usually was motivational though. l attempeted to keep a high morale in the workplace- just saying "You're doing an awful job" is poor managementa time when we had to deliver bad news.
Also we had to discuss whether we thought that text messaging is appropriate in the work place. My response is
If someone is in a meeting and I have an important message to relay to him or her, then it is better to text the person. Many people put their phones on vibrate during meetings. Leaving a voice mail usually won't get the message to the person faster than text messages.
