Many meats, eggs, and dairy products have a lot of saturated fats and cholesterol. If you take in a lot of saturated fats, you could be harming your health. Strokes, heart disease, and other health problems are associated with high saturated fat diets.
I eat a lot of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats- they can lower cholesterol. They are what's regarded as good fats.
Fat from some fish like salmon and tuna, avocado, raw seeds- like pumpkins and sunflowers, nuts, (almonds and cashews, etc), and flax seed are all good sources of good fat.
