Prof. Ashok-Lashar is replacing Prof. Dellapena for my Marketing class. The first class, there were some errors in his lecture and presentation. Plus I felt like he was being biased. I wrote him the following email:

Hey Professor,

The text seems to imply a little bit of different information than we discussed in class: It says that Hispanics purchasing power is much larger than afri-americans: 686 billion to 723 million. Also, in class you stated that Asians are concious about savings and african- americans spend a lot, but the text states that african americans are very concious about price and that asians are the most brand concious of all groups. Also (I think) you stated that the Hispanics will make up 64% of the population, but the book says that by 2050, they'll make up a quarter of the US population. Lastly, I kind of disagree about what you said about African Americans being large- therefore they consume the most. I think its more of an shift of American culture in general. Being multi cultured myself, I do agree that consumption of Americans especially in regards to food is higher than anywhere else. But there are just as many big Puerto Ricans and white Texans as there are African Americans.
