6.0 Controls
The gross margins at or above 40% will enable us to keep on track. If we fail in any of these areas, we will need to re-evaluate our business model.
6.1 Implementation
We will manage implementation by having monthly meetings with the entire staff to make sure that we are on track with our milestones and re-adjust our goals as we gather new data.
Once a quarter, we will review this marketing plan to ensure that we stay focused on our marketing strategy and that we are not distracted by opportunities simply because they are different than what we are currently pursuing..
6.2 Market Research
Retailer Suggestions – We would like to have regular feedback from our retailers in regards to consumer opinions.
Competitor Watch -- We continually monitor our competitors in the diet industry- particularly those with a web presence. We will visit retail stores to make sure our product has adequate shelf space and is receiving attention.
6.3 Customer Relations Management Plans
Sales in the future will come from developing a strong customer base. Word of mouth will be a definite advantage. In order to build this customer base, we need our retailers to provide excellent customer service and to be knowledgeable of our product. We will maintain our website and provide fast customer responses as needed.
We will regularly contact our retailers for feedback.
