Supplements and Nutrition

Proper nutrition is a key element to longevity and personal wellness. One should become knowledgeable of proper nutrition. The subject is increasingly becoming a major and popular topic of American society, particularly given our eating trends. Often times implementing ideal nutrition habits is difficult and confusing. Given that there are so many guidelines publicized as well as nutrition “advice” and “tips” seemingly all over the place, it is no surprise that proper nutrition is hard to grasp. Supplementation, when done correctly, is an option to achieve proper nutrition.
Nutrition is the science of how the body uses food. Basically, nutrition is life. All living things need food and water to live. Beyond that, you need good food- meaning food with the proper nutrients, to live well. If you don’t eat and drink, you’ll die. If you don’t eat and drink nutritious food and beverages your bones may bend or break (not enough calcium), your gums may bleed (not enough vitamin C), your blood may not carry oxygen to every cell (not enough iron).
