Today was the first meeting of my Eng 227 Professional Writing course. It is an 8 week class. Our first assignment is to write a memo in regards to wearing Halloween costume in a business that we manage.

I pretended to be the Provost of a University. My memo is the following:

Our business casual dress policy will remain in full effect on Halloween, October 31. This means absolutely no costumes. Deviancy will result in penalties listed in the University Handbook.
