When you're gonna work out your chest, there are 3 places you wanna hit. You want to work the upper chest, the mid chest, and the lower chest.
For the upper chest, a good exercise is the incline barbell presses. You gotta make sure the bench is inclined where you can feel your upper chest working. It may not be at 45 degrees- where it's usually set.
Of course the classic bench press is good for the mid chest. You should work on having a good form. It's not always about who can lift the most.
And for the lower chest, you can do decline bench presses or even dips. I just started doing the dips for my chest and they work. Just make sure you use your chest doing the work out and not just your arms.
