I know that getting enough rest is important, I just gotta do it. Many things are easier said than done. But anyways, rest is very important for muscle development and maintenance. When muscles are sore and tired, they need time to rest and grow, heal and repair.
People say that you should get at least eight hours of sleep at night. I don't remember the last time I had eight. Maybe I slept 6 hours, but I get up also in the middle of the night at least once. Thats when I tend to drink a glass a wine. It's relaxing
Naps in the middle of the day are good too.
I tend to take mini naps. Somvetimes I'm half sleep in the afternoon, but it does refresh often. I like working out though. It gives me energy. If I can't workout, another energy enhancer is an energy drink. But I tend to stay away from them.
